Carol wrote the only Hot Rod car song to become a top 5 pop hit
"Hey Little Cobra" performed by The Rip Chords, and made history again as the only girl to do this. 

Carol went on to write one of the biggest pop ballads of all time:

"With You I'm Born Again"with composer David Shire.
